GCC starts tomorrow. Strangely I don't feel nervous about it any more. I am prepared. I am ready. It's time to go all out and earn what I have always wanted to get since the start of infantry pro term. I don't care about the rumours about how tough our GCC is going to be; I'm just going to go in there and give it all I got. 1 month from now I will stand on that parade ground, proudly donning that khaki beret too. GCC is not about getting takaned all the time, it's about learning to become a guardsman. And that's exactly what I will focus on, learning to be proficient in the skills of a guardsman.
Couldn't have spent the weekend any better than this, wouldn't have spent it any other way :) these will definitely be fond memories that will keep me going during the 1 month of hell. The happy days that I know will come after the ordeal would also be a great motivation for me :)
Booking in tmr morning, thankful that we have the last night to ourselves. But I need to go back earlier to pack some other items for my field pack because there has been a few changes.
This is it then. The next time I blog here will probably be good news of my graduation I hope :)
