Plans

My time in army is coming to an end.

It's time I planned ahead and think about what I want to do once I'm done.

I've got a good 7 months before university starts. 7 months is a really long time.

One thing is guaranteed guys, I am definitely not going to extend my service in the army by signing on any contracts whatsoever. I had enough of serving and I think I've done my part for National Service. Enough of wearing green, it's time to venture out and experience life outside of the military.

So here are my plans:

1) get my driver's license
2) get a job
3) go on overseas climbing trips

So it's simple really, I find a job when I've ORDed, start driving lessons, get used to my job, earn some cash, get my license, earn even more cash from my job, work work work climb climb climb until July when I will quit my job and start climbing overseas with the money I saved up till university starts. Sounds great right? Even I'm amused at how far I think ahead LOL.

So what's left for my army life? To sum it up, I'm heading to the beautiful land of Brunei in November and then I'm off to the really beautiful land of California in December! What a way to end off my army experience eh. In a bittersweet way, I'm gonna miss all this. I'm glad to have the opportunity to lead my men (most of them) and chiong alongside with them. It's a kind of leadership I cannot explain, but it has certainly changed my mindset and attitude.

Ok enough of the sentimental bullshit im tired and I want to sleep.

Privileges

a year ago I had this same privilege as I have today. But today there's no point in having this privilege anyway. Where do I go? Living such a directionless life these days.
